About BT-7 Tank
The BT-7 Tank was a Soviet light tank, introduced in 1939. It was the most widely produced Soviet tank of the period, with 8765 built between 1936 and 1941.
The BT-7 had sloping armor, 8mm of armor on the hull, and 10mm on the turret front. The design of this tank was based on the French Renault R35 which lacked a rotating turret. The BT-7 was supported by more modern tanks like the T-34 medium tank.
